Emerging farmer advice & extension
We offer ad hoc technical advice to various initiatives within the landscapes we serve, aiming to support these ventures and gain a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by emerging farmers. In the Langkloof, our focus is on honeybush cultivation including seedling production.
Meanwhile, in the Baviaanskloof, we provide technical and administrative support to a community-owned farm.
Support services
The Baviaans Growth Initiative has been set up to uplift the Baviaanskloof community through programs that promote education, personal development, and essential support services. This initiative was developed from initial work by Living Lands and has now grown into it’s own independent entity in its own right.
This is beneficial for long-term honeybush production risk management and harvester skill diversification.
